what store sells tarot cards?
I’ve been interested in buying some tarot cards and learning about them. I don’t want to order them online, I wanted to find a store that I could go to.

It depends which country you are in. You can usually find them in bookshops or New Age stores. I have heard people mention Borders and Barnes and Noble.

The problem with buying them this way is that they are usually sealed in boxes and locked in a cabinet so you can’t really browse properly. They also only have a limited range in stock.

You can read deck reviews and card images at aeclectic.net, amazon and many other sites.

I highy recommend the free Tarot course at learntarot.com.

To figure out someone’s destiny, can you use tarot cards?
For example my destiny. and also is there actually places where you can buy real tarot cards?

Suggestion by Marcus
One would have to ask the attending spirits the question and then the answer may be revealed in the Tarot Cards if they are spread out correctly. Tarot Cards can be bought from may shops and a book store may sell them.

No, it doesn’t work. I know it’s not fun to be skeptical, but Tarot cards are just pieces of paper that exist for fun and entertainment.

When you think about it, how could it possibly work? By what mechanism could cards made of paper foretell what will happen to someone beyond what is expect by chance?

Sure, if you want. I got mine at the renaissance fair. I bought some for a friend at a creepy guy’s garage sale too.

You can get tarot cards at any decent new age store. I personally think the “standard,” Rider-Waite tarot gives the best results, because of all the symbolism inherent in the images, but other people find themselves drawn to other decks, and that’s fine too. You want to pick a deck that speaks to you, personally, because you’re the one who’s going to be reading them!

Tarot is a useful tool, but your “destiny” is not carved in stone. Tarot can’t tell you with 100% certainty what’s going to happen a day or a year or a decade down the road, because you have free will and can make your own choices. What it can do is put into perspective where you are right now in your life, and where your current path is likely to lead if nothing changes – as well as suggesting ways to walk a different road, if that’s what you want.

If this is something you’re interested in, I suggest the book Learning the Tarot, by Joan Bunning. She also has an online course, which is free, that you can use in conjunction with the book, at learntarot.com. It’s got some simple but very valuable exercises for learning how to interpret the cards and the spreads, as well as good information about what tarot is and isn’t. (Hint: it’s more a tool for accessing your own subconscious than for contacting “spirits” or other entities.)
